Art Therapy

Life can get messy, and our minds can feel the strain of trying to put on a brave face to weather the storm. Sometimes our methods of coping can fall short and we can be left feeling burnt out, overwhelmed or losing our enthusiasm for life.

What I offer is a safe, predictable, non-judgemental and compassionate environment where you are the focus.  I am an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and can work traditionally using words or we can use creative processes such as 2D or 3D art-making, the written word or music.  The goal is for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the multitudinal elements to your mind that may be causing you undue stress or anxiety.  In this way, we can seek to change the relationship you have with the more challenging aspects of yourself to encourage greater self-knowledge and quality of life.

You do not need any artistic skill, only a willingness to use image-making and art materials in the therapeutic process.
